Sahaba kraam (RA) used to wrestle. And wrestling is by far the most difficult and injury causing sport. I train in mma and everything is done in a controlled environment. Fighting is part of our DNA. We need it to defend ourselves and develop courage. And without competition, you can't achieve that. I recommend every muslim to train in martial arts and make themselves stronger. Also, jogging and bodybuilding may make your body strong but it does not help you in fight. It takes a certain type of character, nerve, spirit, and psychology to face an opponent which is only developed by training in martial arts. I believe that's why Sahaba RA were so brave. They were masters of sword fighting and hand to hand combat.

there is more chance of you dying from driving than mma or boxing. There is less that 1% chance of you dying doing mma or boxing. Im pretty sure swahabs were fighting men and before a war battle one fighter from each side would battle each other to death, to that extream so what do you say about tbat. People back then trained for that kind of fighting
