you're confused somehow
in the start you yourself said in ghadeer prophet s.a.w said I'm leaving 2 major things between you Quraan and Ahlulbayt (a.s) and later you're saying prophet didn't left any waseeh before leaving this world.

what prophet said in ghadeer was wasiyat to ummah quraan and ahlulbayt to be followed after him and he presented the leader after him as imam ali by saying man kundo maula fahaza aliyun maula here maula doesn't mean friend imam ali was the nafs of payamber s.a.w which is much much more then a friend so there's no point prophet will say he's my friend you're mis translating "Maula" here maula means wasih,wazir,khalifah it should be noted why prophet said this hadees when prophets time of leaving was close, it's because he had to make arrangements of who needs to be followed after him there's no point prophet would've worked hard for propagating islam his whole life and then leave without saying who will be the one to be followed after him so Hadees Ghadeer is when prophet gave ummah Quraan and Ahlulbayt(a.s) and imamat concept is following quraan and Ahlulbayt only as they're the one for whom allah said aayat e tatheer in quraan that ahlulbayt “Verily, verily Allah intends but to keep off from you (every kind of) uncleanness, O you the people of the House, and purify you (with) a thorough purification.” (33:33)
so only those can be wasih of prophet whom quraan has purified that they are masoom and far away from gunnah.

My comment is for those who are well educated and who can research not for munkir e ahlulbayt(a.s)
