In Sura Yassen
Allah is speaking about earth from verse 33 to 36, then Allah speaks about sun and the moon from 37 to 40, and in verse 40 Allah says
.. nor can the night outstrip the day. All glide along, each in its own orbit.

These verses from 33 to 40 obviously refers to sun, moon and earth.

Sura Yaseen

33. Let the dead earth be a Sign for them. We gave it life and produced from it grain whereof they eat.

34. We made in it gardens of date-palms and vines, and We caused springs to gush forth

35. that they might eat of its fruits. It was not their hands that made them. Will they not, then, give thanks?

36. Holy is He Who created all things in pairs, whether it be of what the earth produces, and of themselves, and of what they do not know.

37. And the night is another Sign for them. We strip the day from it and they become plunged in darkness.

38. The sun is running its course to its appointed place. That is the ordaining of the All-Mighty, the All-Knowing.

39. We have appointed stages for the moon till it returns in the shape of a dry old branch of palm-tree.

40. Neither does it lie in the sun’s power to overtake the moon nor can the night outstrip the day. All glide along, each in its own orbit.

Quran gives the sign that "the Earth is "round" and rotating on it's own imaginary axis" He is the Lord of East and West .
● There is sign in Quran that earth is round and even it is rotating on it's axis 360 ℃ tilting 23 ℃ angle from North Pole to South Pole vice versa throughout the year.
Note :- one who has knowledge of geography and astrological he can understand the unspecific (hidden meaning) verse mentioned in verse 3:7
🔘 Ayat 55 :17 :-
[He is] the Lord of two "East" and two "West".
Analysis of verse :-
All know that there is one east and one west direction on the earth, yet why Allah claimed , He is the Lord of two "East" and two "West". This is the unspecific puzzled verse described in verse 3:7. Before 1400 years when no geographical knowledge was prevailing much in the world, it is hard to understand the true meaning of this verse. Even today's common man can't understand it's meaning . But today's modern geographical scientific age every one knows that earth is round almost a ball by the photograph or vedio taken by space Satellite or rocket. And now one who has geographical knowledge can explain or decode the meanig of verse 55:17. Today Every body knows that Sun rises in "east" and sets in "west" . Supposed one was living on A point on the earth , he views the sun rise in east in the morning and set in evening in west . Extreme opposite to A, living on B point on the earth views "sun set" in "west" , when sun rise on A views in east in the morning. when opposite to A point, i.e on B point views sun rise in the "east" the same time A point views sun set in west . Thus every opposite two points on earth continuously experiences (morning sun rise for A point for east, the same time in evening for B point in west vice versa altered west for A and east for B). Thus two each opposite place created two east and two west . So sun stands on each point in the sky creating continuos (east+west) altering (west+east) i.e 2 east and 2 west direction for opposite place on round earth. Thus every opposite points on earth experiencing continuosly (48×365) two east and two west and it can be on happened if the earth is round and contunuos rotating on it's axis.
Logical analyzing of the verse 55:17
= 55+17+ (2 East + 2 West)
= 55+17+ (2+2)
= (11×5)+(1+7)+ 4
= (1+1+5)+ 8+4
=7+8+4
= 19 (endorsed word of Allah)

🔘 37: 5 > Lords of heaven and the earth and that between them and Lord of sunrises (Easts)
Understanding of verse :- verse says there are more than one or many "East" directions exist. It is true due to continuous rotating of earth as per decoding of agar 55:17) and earth tilting 23 ℃ angle towards North to South pole vice versa throughout the year creating plural east directions changing the world's atmosphere and season. Thus the mentioning of plural of East directions meaning is found logically and geographically true.

Allah mentioned that He is the Lord of East and West.
It is very simple to know the meaning of verse . And the number of verse simply reflect that the verse is the word of Allah
