But the stance of Ahle Sunnah wal jamat isn't the same, every sahabi was bashr, a human like us and you, every human being is capable of doing a mistake, companions of prophet (s.a.w) were the same may Allah be pleased with them of them.Hazrat e Muaviya r.a also did many mistakes in which top of the list are
1.Revolt against Mola Ali (a.s)
2.Breaking the system of Caliphate
3.Cursing on one of the best man on the planet at that time (I.e Mola Ali a.s).
Now coming to banu Ummah i ask you all to do research of your own to see what banu Ummah did to Ahle bait as well as many senior sahabis.
