Its not fair to pass derogatory remarks against Abu Haneefa or Malik. They tried their best in their time to put across the teaching of Qur'an and Sunnah for commoners. I dont think there are any major difference in basic beliefs. Some minor difference are of course there, which are ignorable. Overall Umma is following Qur'an and Sunnah but some Ulema are rigid in their masaliks and are intolerant but as far offering of Salah is concerned, there is hardly any major difference.
I think you are not doing any service to Islam by blowing up minor differences after 1400 years. Do you think this way you can unite the Umma. The best is to invite towards commonalities.
Imam Abu Haneefa presented what he observed in first century AH.?The Mohaditheen came nearly two centuries AH.The chain of narration by then extended to.4-5 narrators. and Imam.Bukhari or Muslim never met each narrator. It was all based on hearsay whereas Abu Haneefa had met about 9-10 Sahaba and his fiqh is based on personal Mushahida. Abu Haneefa's contribution during those turbulent years was too much. There is a chapter on his contribution or role given in Modoodi's epoch making book "Khilafat o Malookiat". please do read it and also "kitabul Kharaj by Umam Yousuf". Ikhtilaf to rehta hey but its not so big that you start pushing the people out of Islam.
However I fully endorse your Jehad against Qabar Parasti and Buzurg Parasti. Both Deobandi and Brelvi masalik are indulging in this practice one way or the other but Brelvis have crossed all limits. Allah SWT ham sub ko hidayat dey. Aamen..
